How precious it is, even for this life, to act according to the word of God!
After I had left my father, though I wanted more money than at any previous period of my life, as I had to remain two years longer in the university, I determined, never to take any more from him.

Do not think that I have attained in faith to that degree to which I might and ought to attain; but thank God for the faith which He has given me, and ask Him to uphold and increase it.
