There are a great many people who don’t believe the glad tidings that peace has been made by Jesus Christ between God and man, but it is true.
Walking with God not only implies, that the prevailing power of the enmity of a man’s heart be taken away, but also that a person is actually reconciled to God the Father, in and through the all-sufficient righteousness and atonement of his dear Son.
God and my soul were friends by His blood; yea, I saw that the justice of God, and my sinful soul could embrace and kiss each other, through His blood.
But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation;
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
