And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

One flash of truth towards me would destroy my enmity at once.
Christ Jesus has no quarrel with his spouse. She often wanders from him, and grieves his Holy Spirit, but he does not allow her faults to affect his love.

How horrible, and how hell-like, is a revengeful heart!

Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other... Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
