I had rather bless the soul of the poorest crossing-sweeper, or rag-gatherer, than please a prince of the blood, and fail to convert him to God.
You are Christ’s and Christ is yours. As husband and wife are one, so is Jesus one with all those who are united to Him by faith; one by a conjugal union which can never be broken.
He who does not pine to lead others to Jesus has never been under the spell of love himself. Get to the work of the Lord--the work of love. Begin at home. Visit next your neighbors.
