Grace & Salvation
There is deliverance, there is the liberty of the Holy Spirit.
The Christ who led Peter to Pentecost is waiting today to take charge of every heart that is willing to surrender itself to Him.
None else but Christ Jesus can give deliverance from the power of self.
You are trying to do in your own strength what Christ alone can do in you.
God does not ask you to give the perfect surrender in your strength, or by the power of your will; God is willing to work it in you.
God has redeemed me and made me His own with the view of getting complete possession.
It is not sin, but grace, that will make me indeed know myself a sinner, and make the sinner’s place of deepest self-abasement the place I never leave.
It is Christ Jesus who can rid you of it; none else but Christ Jesus can give deliverance from the power of self.
Let the Holy Spirit have full dominion over me, in my home, in my temper, in every word of my tongue, in every thought of my heart, in every feeling toward my fellow men.
It is when a man is brought to this confession that deliverance is at hand.
