Love
He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
For the Father has affection for the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does. He will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him.
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
We are predestined to be ‘conformed to the image’ of God’s Son. This means, of course, not a likeness of bodily presence, but a likeness of character and nature. It means a similarity of thought, of feeling, of desire, of loves, of hates.
You are Christ’s and Christ is yours. As husband and wife are one, so is Jesus one with all those who are united to Him by faith; one by a conjugal union which can never be broken.
