Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works,
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Nevertheless, he who comforts the lowly, God, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
God has doubtless a design now to deal forth saving blessings to a number. God has done it to some already, and it is not probable that he has yet finished his work amongst us: we may well hope still to see others brought out of darkness into marvellous light.
If there is therefore any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion,
If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
There is no place in the Scriptures where it is recorded that God ever used even a discouraged man.
There is never a soul in heaven that is sorry that they are converted.
In former times men have met with angels here, have found pearls here, and have in this place found the words of life.
It is life, not death, that is the first part of our message to you.
You may but speak a word to a child, and in that child there may be slumbering a noble heart.
God never permits such grievous temptations and assaults to try any, save those souls whom He designs to lead on to His own living, highest love.
Be of good cheer, my brother: I feel the bottom, and it is good.
Sing, believer, for it will cheer thine own heart, and the hearts of other desolate ones.
strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into God’s Kingdom.

One of the most fatal things in the life of faith is discouragement. One of the most helpful is cheerfulness.
I never knew a case where God used a discouraged man or woman to accomplish any great thing for Him.
For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don’t grow weary, fainting in your souls.
For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
Never should any man or woman despair!
Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing what is right.
But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
But you be strong! Don’t let your hands be slack, for your work will be rewarded.
Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
