Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. Whoever loves the Father also loves the child who is born of him.
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
It is ours to believe, it is the Lord’s to create us anew.
The Church of our text is made up of all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, of all who are really holy and converted people. It comprehends all who have repented of sin, and fled to Christ by faith, and been made new creatures in Him.
