Faith & Trust
It is not sitting, but sitting at Jesus’ feet which is commendable.
Nothing is more conspicuous in the life of our Lord than prayer.
He who is constantly employed in interceding for others does that on earth which the eternal Son of God always does in heaven.
As therefore you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him,

For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

If I tell the world about Jesus, then will He tell the Father about me.
Nothing that the Savior found when He was on this sin-cursed earth pleased Him so much as to see the faith of His disciples.
It is only Christ who opens the way and teaches the worship in spirit.
Christ is the pearl of price; when we disesteem this pearl, we shall never learn its value.
It means to have no life but His life, to have no will but His will, to have no interests but His interests, to share His riches, to enter into His joys, to partake of His sorrows, to manifest His life, to have the same mind as He had.
The touchstone of the ‘Follow Me’ life is not imitation but following; not copying but obeying; not struggle—though there will be struggle—but companionship, a companionship which nothing is allowed to take the fine edge off of.
When he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they were gathered together with the assembly, and taught many people. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Give yourself, and live, to do the works of Christ and you will learn to pray so as to obtain wonderful answers to prayer.

Look to Heaven, and do not lose it for earth; look at Hell, and do not plunge therein for the sake of this passing life; look at Jesus Christ, and do not deny Him for the world’s sake.
